Keesler Federal Credit Union was founded in 1947 when 10 people on Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi pooled $1 each to form what is today an international financial cooperative. Today, KFCU serves over 184,000 members worldwide.

Keesler Federal Credit Union is the largest credit union in Mississippi with over $1.5 billion in assets. Bauer Financial Inc. has awarded the credit union a 5 star exceptional rating for the past 55 consecutive quarters. The credit union has thirteen branches in South Mississippi and four branches on Royal Air Force Bases in the United Kingdom.
