Keesler Federal Presents $29,000 to New Orleans Women & Children’s Shelter With Saints Kicks for Kids
Keesler Federal Credit Union presented a $29,000 donation to the New Orleans Women & Children’s Shelter as part of the Saints Kicks for Kids program, recognizing on-field success during the 2025 New Orleans Saints season while supporting critical community initiatives.
Throughout the 2025 season, the New Orleans Saints converted 29 field goals, with each made kick generating a $1,000 contribution through the Saints Kicks for Kids program. Saints’ kicker Charlie Smyth played a key role in this achievement, finishing the season 12 of 16 on field goal attempts, including a season-long kick of 57 yards and four field goals from 50 yards or more.
Keesler Federal Credit Union formally presented the $29,000 donation to the New Orleans Women & Children’s Shelter, where the funds will directly support programs providing housing, counseling, and essential services to women and children in need throughout the Greater New Orleans area.
“Keesler Federal is proud to support organizations that make a lasting difference in our community,” said Andy Swoger, President and CEO for Keesler Federal. “The Saints Kicks for Kids program is a great example of how teamwork—on and off the field—can create meaningful impact.”
“Last year was the biggest year yet for the New Orleans Women & Children’s Shelter. Since 2007, we have assisted over 5,000 parents and children recovering from homelessness with physical shelter, programs and support services. Less than two percent of our participants have returned to homelessness,” said Dawn Bradley-Fletcher, CEO of NOWCS. “We are so grateful for partners like the Saints and Keesler Federal Credit Union, who are bringing our families hope and providing resources that will benefit generations of New Orleanians.”
The Saints Kicks for Kids program continues to highlight the powerful connection between sports and community investment, turning every successful kick into tangible support for local families.
