Community Givebacks
2025 Community Givebacks - $1.59 Million
Keesler Federal supports communities through programs that recognize local heroes, support veterans, and invest in students. These initiatives reflect the credit union’s commitment to giving back to the places where members live, work, and raise their families.
Community Volunteerism and Donations
Keesler Federal supports nonprofit organizations and programs that create meaningful impact in the communities we serve. Organizations requesting donations or sponsorships must meet eligibility requirements and align with our Community Engagement Pillars of Giving. Organizations must have an active 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), 501(c)(6), or 501(c)(7) status.
Note: Consideration is based on availability of funds. Keesler Federal members will be given priority over requests by nonmembers.
- For-profit or political organizations*
- National organizations that do not directly benefit communities served by the credit union**
- Social outings, parties, alumni banquets, family reunions***
- Donations to individuals
- Donations for travel expenses
- Religious organizations or Mardi Gras Krewes unless funding is used to help the community at large (i.e. Food Pantry and other pillars of giving)
- Funding requests duplicating Keesler Federal programs (i.e. school supply distribution requests, scholarships)

How to Submit a Donation Request
Organizations seeking support from Keesler Federal must submit a donation or sponsorship request online. Requests should include detailed information and be submitted at least four weeks before funds are needed.
Organizations may receive no more than one donation per calendar year.
After the event, organizations must submit a photo or proof of advertisement to the Community Development Department after the event to be considered for future sponsorship.
