Biloxi’s Baseball Stadium Renamed Keesler Federal Park

Keesler Federal Park

Keesler Federal Credit Union officially announces the Biloxi baseball stadium will now be named Keesler Federal Park.

Keesler Federal made the announcement after acquiring the stadium’s naming rights, which were approved by the Biloxi City Council. The stadium, home of the Biloxi Shuckers, was previously known as MGM Park, but last year MGM Resorts International withdrew its naming option.

“Seeing the Keesler Federal name unveiled at the park will be a truly proud moment since the credit union has deep roots in Biloxi, and we owe our success to the loyalty and support this community has shown since we were founded in 1947,” said Andy Swoger, Keesler Federal’s President and CEO. “This is an incredible opportunity for us to commit to the continued success of this premier family attraction that is a vital part of the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s economy.”

Located at 105 Caillavet Street in Biloxi, the ballpark seats 6,067 people for the Biloxi Shuckers, the Class AA minor league franchise of the Milwaukee Brewers since construction was completed in 2015. The park features 4,500 reserved seats in the seating bowl, 12 suites, two open-air party decks, a terrace, a luxury club, a grass berm and a 1,472-square-foot scoreboard.

Keesler Federal Park sits across the street from the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino and has more than 8,500 parking spaces within a short walk of the ballpark. The facility is also accessible via a crosswalk (over US-90) for pedestrians coming from Beau Rivage.

Though primarily a venue for minor league baseball, the stadium has also hosted Conference USA’s baseball tournament and various concert performances.
