Keesler Federal Honors First Responders for the Seventh Consecutive Year

2021 First Responders of the Year

Keesler Federal Credit Union recently honored 68 outstanding first responders for their exemplary work and protection of local citizens through its First Responder of the Year program. This marked the seventh year that Biloxi-based Keesler Federal has recognized recipients from local fire and police stations, military law enforcement, highway patrol and emergency medical ambulatory personnel. The agencies are all located within the markets that Keesler Federal serves. Each agency selected the recipient of the First Responder of the year recognition, and they were honored at 61 presentations in a geographic region stretching from the Jackson metro market to New Orleans and Mobile. Each First Responder of the Year received an etched glass award and a financial reward. Two were honored posthumously, and their families accepted on their behalf.
